Data and information can be categorized based on their representation for the human processing.
They can be summarized into four main types of data as follows.
- Alpha Numeric Data: Numbers, Letters and Other Characters
- Image Data: Graphic, Images and Pictures
- Audio Data: Sound, Noise or tones
- Video Data: Moving Images or Pictures
