1. දැකුම් රේඛා රූප තලයේ ලක්‍ෂ්‍යයක් වේ. දැකුම් දිශාව පිහිටන්නේ ප්‍රධාන ලක්‍ෂයේ පමණි.
A line of sight appears as a point on the image plane. If we look straight down any line or visual ray, we only see a point in the image. Thus, the direction of view only appears as the principal point, and the origin of any visual ray appears as a point.

2. ඕනෑම කෙලින් රේඛාවක් රූප තලයේ කෙලින් රේඛාවකි. එය කොයි දෙසින් බැලුවද ඇදුනු නූලක් ලෙසින් කෙලින්ය.
Any straight line that is not a line of sight projects a straight line on the image plane. A stretched piece of string always looks straight in a perspective drawing, no matter which way the string is viewed.

Any two points on a straight line, projected onto the image plane, define that line on the image plane.

4.කෙලින් රේඛාවක රූපයක් රූප තලයේ හා එහි අතුරුදහන් ලක්‍ෂ්‍යයේදී අවසාන වේ. එය රුප තලයට සමාන්තර රේඛා සඳහා පමණක් වලංගු නොවේ.
The image of a straight line ends in two points: its intersection with the image plane and its vanishing point.

5. රේඛාවක අතුරුදහන් ලක්‍ෂ්‍යය සමාන්තර දැකුම් රේඛාවයි. අපගේ දැකුම් දිශාවට සමාන්තර රේඛාවලදී අප එම රේඛාවේ අතුරුදහන් ලක්‍ෂ්‍යය දෙස බලමු.
The vanishing point for any line is the parallel line of sight. If our direction of view is exactly parallel to any line, then we are looking directly at the vanishing point for that line.

 

6. All parallel lines converge to the same (single) vanishing point.

7. Lines parallel to the direction of view appear to converge at the principal point.

 

8. යම් තලයක තිබෙන රේඛාවක් රූප තලයේදීද රේඛාවක් වේ.
A plane that contains a line of sight appears as a line on the image plane.

 

9. තලයක රේඛා දෙකක් රූප තලයට ප්‍රක්ෂේපනය කළවිට රූප තලයේ එම තලය වේ.
Any two lines in a plane, projected onto the image plane, define the plane on the image plane.

10. තලයක රූපය එහි අතුරුදහන් ලක්‍ෂ්‍යය හා රූප තලය අතර අවසාන වේ.
The image of a plane ends in two lines: its intersection with the image plane and its vanishing line.

 

11. ඕනෑම තලයක අතුරුදහන් රේඛාව එහි දැකුම් රේඛාවට සමාන්තර වේ.
The vanishing line for any plane is the parallel plane containing a line of sight, or a line connecting the vanishing points for any two lines parallel to the plane.

 

12. සියළු සමාන්තර රේඛා එකම අතුරුදහන් රේඛාවකදී හමුවේ.
All parallel planes converge to the same vanishing line.

 

13. තලයක අතුරුදහන් රේඛාව මත සියළු අතුරුදහන් ලක්‍ෂ්‍යයන් පිහිටයි.
The vanishing line of a plane contains the vanishing points for all lines in the plane and all lines parallel to the plane.

The vanishing lines for all planes parallel to the direction of view intersect the principal point.
