Subordinating conjunctions උපකාරක සමුච්ච නිපාත
 


Subordinating conjunctions are used to join a subordinate dependent clause to  an independent clause,
උපකාරක සමුච්ච නිපාත ප්‍රධාන වාක්‍යංශයකට උප වාක්‍යංශයක් සම්බන්ධ කිරීමට භාවිතා කරයි.

for example:
- I went swimming although it was cold.

Subordinating conjunctions usually come at the beginning of the subordinate clause උපකාරක සමුච්ච නිපාත උප වාක්‍යංශයට පෙරාතුව යොදයි.

 The 7 coordinating conjunctions are short, simple words. They have only two or three letters. There's an easy way to remember them - their initials spell:
