My mother took me to school on the first day. We waited in front of the school office.
A teacher came and led me to some classrooms. I was put into a class. Some children began to cry when their parents left. I did not cry. I got to know many new friends that day. Our teacher was very kind. Whole day we were laughing and playing. The teacher told us to keep quiet and not to make much noise. We always forgot that advice.

In the afternoon the bell rang. It was time for us to go home. I too was happy to see my mother. She was waiting for me at the school gate. I made many friends in my first day in school. Some of them are still my friends. It was wonderful day. I can never forget my first day in school.
